"Cowboys & Aliens" Signs James Bond Star
Daniel Craig will play the lead role in Platinum Studios' upcoming film "Cowboys & Aliens." Craig's addition to the cast comes just days after Robert Downey Jr., who had previously been attached, opted out of the project. Craig joins forces with some of Hollywood's biggest power players involved in the film, including director Jon Favreau ("Iron Man"), writers Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci ("Star Trek" and "Transformers"), and producers Brian Grazer, Steven Spielberg and Platinum Studios Chairman & CEO Scott Rosenberg.
Craig's previous work includes the most recent James Bond films "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace," action comedy "Layer Cake," war epics "Defiance" and "Munich," and the American period picture "Road to Perdition," in which he starred alongside Paul Newman and Tom Hanks.
"Dead of Night" Leaks Photo, Leads Poll

Platinum Studios is proud to have locked picture on its vampire-werewolf-zombie mystery "Dead of Night." This step takes the producers into the final stages of the production process, as they oversee visual effects, sound mixing, and scoring of the final film.
The milestone came just days after "Dead of Night" placed first in an AMC online poll for most anticipated comic book movie of 2010. With 53% of the vote, "Dead of Night" placed above highly publicized films "Iron Man 2" and "Kick-Ass."
The poll results came with a surprise treat for fans of the original comic, the beloved Italian detective fumetto "Dylan Dog." The movie's official blog released a photo taken from the set for "Dead of Night," the details of which wowed fans, who noted Dylan's signature clarinet, Scotland Yard mug, and perpetually unfinished model ship. Fans can expect more exclusive photos as the film nears completion.
